Results September 30 ........... was a six lap scratch race with the first four laps ridden under control with assistance from Daryl Edwards. Each rider took a turn at the head of the bunch during the four laps before the whistle sounded on lap 5 to start racing. All four riders controlled the urge to increase the pace before the bell sounded for the final lap. The first to make a move from the front was Lachlan Gibson followed by Aaron Nabulsi, Nic Anderson then Jordan Nabulsi. Going down the back Jordan began to move around the bunch to find Lachlan's wheel. Nic was perched on Jordan's wheel as Aaron began to loose ground. Turning into the home straight Lachlan kicked away as Nic went past Jordan. Lachlan went on to take the win from Nic with Jordan 3rd followed by Aaron a short distance back. Event two was a 200m individual sprint that saw Nic stop the clock at 20.18/100seconds, next was Lachlan with 18.15/100. Aaron recorded 22.50/100 and Jordan's time w2as 21.25/100. Event three was a 1km handicap with Lachlan starting from Scratch, Nic out at 30m, Jordan 40m, Aaron at 80m. Crossing the line as the bell rang out for the final lap the group were all together after Lachlan and Nic working together soon picked up the two front runners. Lachlan kept the pace going and as they turned for home kicked clear to take a good win from Nic and a fast finishing Jordan 3rd with Aaron tailed off crossed the line a little later. The last event was an elimination scratch race. The first two lap were free laps with no-one being eliminated. On lap three Aaron made a bold move by opening a small gap going down the back straight before being overtaken by Lachlan, Nic and Jordan and getting eliminated. Lap four saw Jordan next to go out, leaving Nic and Lachlan to fight out the final two places. Turning for home both were locked together, trying to set-up a dead heat, however as they drew close to the line Lachlan moved forward to take the win by the width of a tyre.
