Medal for Shannon McCurley, European Track Championships u/23/Juniors
in Anadia, Portugal on Friday July 29. Shannon's
success came in the final of the women's scratch race after being knocked
down onto the duct board 3/4 lap out, but managed to regain her place and
finished 3rd in what she described as the hardest scratch race she has
ever ridden. Well Done Shannon.
