Starts at 9.00am from Apex Park, Waterloo Rd, Moe. The rides will be casual easy paced rides to suit all abilities and various levels of fitness for new and riders that have been at it for a while. Using safe, low road usage routes over varying distances from 40kms to 60km. The group will ride together, re-assembling after any climbs. The ride is designed to assist new riders to ride safely in groups with other road users, learn bunch etiquette and to gain a more pleasureable time riding a bicycle. Oh! and finishing with a coffee and cake (if desire takes your fancy) along with a post mortem of the ride at Brya's Cafe in Albert St. All Welcomed male & female. There will be no ride in adverse weather (raining, really strong winds) conditions.
Moe Sunday Morning Group Ride
This group ride leaves Apex Park, Moe each Sunday morning @ 8.00am. The rides vary from 70kms upto 100+kms over various routes comprising of differing terrains. The group averages between 27 & 32kph depending on which route they are on. These rides takes in some fantastic scenery on roads made for cycling, where if you see two cars, a farm tractor, a milk truck, then you're on a busy road. The group is renowned for regrouping at the top of climbs and helps each other when mechanicals occur, like punctures. Ideal for new riders both men & women wanting to join group rides. And usually there is coffee after.
Traralgon Saturday Morning Fast Group
This group leaves Hungry Jacks, Traralgon @ 7.00am each Saturday morning. The ride is around 100kms and is made up of fast riders and goes from Traralgon out to Glengarry, Toongabbie, Cowarr, Seton, Glenmaggie, Heyfield back to Traralgon. The ride usually averages speed is up in the mid to high 30kph. This ride is for the fast men & women.
Traralgon Wednesday Evening Fast Ride Loop to Cowwarr returning via Toongabbie ~ 85kms Wednesday Evening @ 5.00pm - Lights Essential, Meet at Hungry Jacks, Traralgon. During Autumn/Winter/Early Spring months - April to September.
